Hilda M. Aucelli

Hilda M. Aucelli, age 90, of Eastlake, passed away on January 18, 2018. She was born in East Syracuse, NY on December 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Cecil and Olive Stewart.

Hilda was the beloved mother of Bonnie Heasley, Teresa (James) Marschall, Julia (Timothy) Frederick, Christopher (Lisa) Aucelli, and Ralph (Ann) Aucelli, the loving grandmother of Holly, Michael, Carol, Marie, Anna, Jessica, Nicole, Abby, Charles, Kimberly, a proud great-grandmother of Alan, the late Adrianna, Max, Daniel, Freddy and Archie, and a cherished sister of George Stewart.

Hilda was proud to be the first librarian at St Justin Martyr School and a past President of the Ave Maria Guild. She retired as a bookkeeper after many years at Sanymetal. After retirement, Hilda worked at the box office at the Fine Arts Association in Willoughby. Most of all, Hilda was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at St Justin Martyr Parish, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake. Burial to occur at Willoughby Memorial Garden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donation be made, in Hilda’s name, to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
