Woman shot in leg at Lake Dine & Dance

A woman was shot in the right leg Feb. 12 at Lake Dine & Dance, 520 Fairport Nursery Road in Painesville Township.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident that occurred about 10 p.m., said Capt. Mike Warner.

Warner said the woman is doing fine. After being shot, she went home and was later transported to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland as a precautionary measure.

As of 9:45 a.m. Feb. 13, no one is in custody, Warner said.
