Man charged with weapons violations
A Cuyahoga County man arrested Feb. 13 in Mentor faced a judge there the same day on three felony charges, his arraignment file states.
According to court records, Damon D. Grayson, 38, of 5932 Engle Road, faces a third-degree felony count of having weapons under disability, because of a prior felony conviction; and one fourth-degree felony count each of improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon.
He’s also charged with a minor misdemeanor marijuana possession count,
If convicted on all three felony counts, Grayson could be sentenced to a maximum six years behind bars.
He’s being held on a $50,000/10 percent cash or surety bond and has a pretrial/preliminary hearing set for Feb. 20, court documents state.
