Bruce Gamiere, 69 of Mentor, passed away February 15, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital. He was born May 6, 1948 in Pawtucket, RI.

Mr. Gamiere had worked as a wine sales consultant for Gil Schwartz tributors from 1975-2002. Bruce also served the City of Mentor for multiple terms as a member of the Municipal Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Mentor Ohio Port thority. He enjoyed cooking, wood ing and golfing with his Monday iegel’s golf group. An avid reader, Civil War buff and history lover, when not spending time in the state of Ohio, he retreated to their home in Estero, Florida to enjoy the warmer weather until it was time for golf in Ohio. A 1966 graduate of Willoughby South High School, he ed Bowling Green State University and the Cooper School of Art.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Cindy (Dober); dren Rochelle (Mark Surman) Gamiere, Joshua Gamiere and Brooke Gamiere; grandchild­ren Alison, Matthew, Ava and Ashlyn; brother Brian (Carolyn) Gamiere and other loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Virginia Gamiere. A private family service will be held. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland.
