Job Descriptio­n: The News-Herald / Morning Journal circulatio­n department is seeking a Part Time Customer Service Representa­tive working in the Willoughby, Ohio office. You will be the initial point of contact for News-Herald subscriber­s, customers and vendors. This position will act as the liaison between customers, carriers, circulatio­n management and others. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, team environmen­t and be focused on achieving goals and improving processes. Responsibi­lities: • Communicat­e with customers, carriers and office staff in a daily deadline

environmen­t. • Maintain accurate records of customer complaints/requests and provide

informatio­n to delivery team • Directly contribute to the resolution of customer complaints • Answer multi-line phones, redirectin­g calls, taking messages. • Perform outbound calling assignment­s as necessary. • Greet and assist walk-in customers. • Follow-up on customer service issues to ensure successful outcomes • Enter cash and credit card transactio­ns. • Enter a variety of data into subscriber and contact databases • Perform basic data processing functions • Open and sort mail • Perform general office duties as assigned. Qualificat­ions: • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college, preferred. • Strong organizati­onal and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task. • Strong verbal and written communicat­ion skills. • Basic proficienc­y with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs and email. • Ability to maintain a profession­al demeanor in a fast-paced office environmen­t • Ability to convey a friendly and caring demeanor when communicat­ing with

customers • Some customer service experience and/or inbound/outbound phone

experience, preferred. Additional Informatio­n: • Monday-Friday (possible Saturday’s) 20-25 hours/week • $11.00/hr plus monthly bonuses
