Stella Campbell

Stella Campbell, 98, of Mentor, passed away March 1, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital. She was born May 15, 1919 in Cleveland.

Mrs. Campbell worked in sales at Traveler’s Department Store in Cleveland. Stella and her husband, Scotty, loved teaching Sunday school for over 45 years at Beachland Church. Her hobbies included all the fun activities and lowship with her friends at Governor’s Port. Stella’s est joy was hearing from, or spending time visiting her family and friends, especially her best friend of over 80 years, Violet Prince. Most recently she bonded with many parishioners at Parkside Church-Lake County on Sunday’s and then having homemade breakfast with her niece, Renee Pecek after.

Survivors are her niece, Darlene (David) Zgonc; nephew, Marty (Renee) Pecek; and many other loving family bers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin “Scotty” Campbell; sisters, Helen Drabin, and Mary Smierciak; er, Joseph Serafin; and her parents, Stanislaw and Zofia rafin.

The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & mation Center 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Bedford Heights, OH.
