Easter Bunny hopping into mall
The Easter Bunny will be available at Great Lakes Mall to greet his guests and capture photo memories March 9 through March 31 in the Easter Bunny Garden, located in the Dillard’s Concourse.
In an effort to make the experience even more convenient, families can use Bunny FastPass to pre-pay for their photo package online and reserve a time slot to visit the Easter Bunny at the Mentor mall. For additional information or to reserve a time slot, visit www.bunnyfastpass.com/ view/6432.
To celebrate the Easter Bunny’s return, Great Lakes Mall will host the KidX Easter Eggstravaganza from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 10. The event will feature entertainment, crafts and fun springtime activities.
“We are excited to kick off the spring season, welcoming the Easter Bunny back to Great Lakes Mall, bringing smiles and joy to children and families in our area,” said mall Marketing Director Kate Miller in a news release. “There is something delightful about visiting the Easter Bunny, and we’re happy so many families choose to experience this special springtime tradition with us.”
Then, on March 11, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., “Sensitive Bunny” will be available prior to normal retail hours, offering a quieter, calmer, sensory-friendly experience for children with special needs. To reserve a ticket and time slot, visit www.autismspeaks.org/ Bunny2018.
Auburn Career Center’s Plant, Turf and Landscape Management students are in the final stages of building the elaborate Easter Bunny set, which was designed by Architecture Project Management students, according to a news release. The live set will include a waterfall and will be lush with assorted tropical plants, flowering shrubs and spring bulbs, emphasizing the colors of spring.
“Not only does this exhibit provide our students with the opportunity to get hands-on experience and showcase their talents, but it is also great for the community to enjoy,” said Auburn Superintendent Brian Bontempo in the release.
