events: Amazing Grace Evangelica­l Presbyteri­an Church will host an Easter Sunrise Service, Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 6:30 a.m. April 1 at the Chestnut Shelter off Chagrin River Road in the North Chagrin Reservatio­n. Tickets for the pancake breakfast are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for children and $16 for families. A traditiona­l Easter Service will be held at 11 a.m. on April 1 at Amazing Grace, 5632 Wilson Mills Road, Highland Heights. For details, call 440-4426441.

Rummage sale: A rummage sale will be April 1921 at the Mayfield United Methodist Church, 7747 Mayfield Road, Chester Township. The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., April 19; from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 20 and 9 a.m. to noon April 21, which will also be bag day. Early birds at 8 a.m., April 19 will be charged admission of $10 per person. All proceeds benefit church missions.

Vineyard services: Vineyard Community Church, 1928 E. 300th St., Wickliffe, will have its Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on March 30. Then on April 1, there will be a free Easter Sunday breakfast, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Both will be at the church. Full buffet includes eggs, bacon, sausage (pork and turkey), Canadian bacon, bagels, pancakes (gluten-free option), juice, coffee, and more. (Donations accepted, but not required). The church will celebrate Easter Sunday at the 10 a.m. Services are open to the public and all are welcome. Illusionis­ts featured: The Little Church in the Vale, 610 Chagrin River Road, Gates Mills, will host illusionis­ts David and Kylie Knight presenting their show, “Illusions” at 7 p.m., March 22. Breakfast served: St. Mary of Chardon Knights of Columbus will host an all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs breakfast. Pancakes will be buttermilk, blueberry or chocolate chip, with real maple syrup. The breakfast will be served March 18 and April 29, at the church, 401 North St. Cost is $8 for adults; $7 for seniors and $3 children ages 6 through 12 years of age. Ages 5 and younger will be admitted free. New Promise Church services: New Promise Church, 8671 EuclidChar­don Road, Kirtland will hold the following events and services,“Champion of Love” — an Easter musical by the Worship Choir and Drama Ministry, at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., Palm Sunday, March 25. Classes available for children nursery through fifth grade. The Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m., on Maundy Thursday, March 29. Childcare will be provided for nursery through kindergart­en. Patients’ rights discussed: It’s About Living, a program about patients’ rights, will be presented on at 7 p.m. April 18, and again at 9 a.m. April 19 at 9 a.m. at St. Cyprian Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry. Rita Marker, executive director of the Patients Rights Council, will be featured. She is an accomplish­ed attorney with expertise in the rights one has as a patient. A free legal document will be made available. The program is handicappe­d accessible. Eucharisti­c Adoration:

The community is invited to join St. Gabriel Parish at 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., April 22 in the church for a Eucharisti­c Adoration that will include music and reflection on the real presence of Jesus. Rosary for traditiona­l marriage: Our Lady of Fatima and Saint Joseph Public Rosary Rally will be noon March 17, for the traditiona­l marriage, at the Willoughby Municipal Pool on Euclid Avenue, in Willoughby.

Special needs Easter Egg Hunt: North Mentor Centenary Church, 9290 Lakeshore Blvd., at Corduroy Road, Mentor, will again host an Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs and their siblings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 24. The Easter Bunny and therapy animals along with a puppet show that will be performed at 11:45 a.m. will be available for the special needs child and their siblings. Be sure to bring a camera. All activities are inside and can be enjoyed at the child’s own pace wither before or after the puppet show. The egg hunt is wheelchair accessible and a grass room is available for the children’s enjoyment. To better accommodat­e all children’s needs, registrati­on is not required but is encouraged. The retreat will be March 23-24 with private room accommodat­ions. Fr. Jeremy Merzweiler and Fr. Michael Denk will be present. There is a registrati­on fee of $75.
