NFL scouts evaluating McKenrick at pro days

JCU’s defensive line coach and Mason McKenrick of Mentor drove to the University of Toledo’s NFL pro day.

It’s a busy week for John Carroll football player Mason McKenrick.

On March 19, JCU defensive line coach Jeff Long and McKenrick drove west for the University of Toledo’s NFL pro day. On March 23, McKenrick will bookend his week by participating in the Kent State pro day.

McKenrick did well at the Toledo pro day, as he registered times of 4.56 and 4.55 seconds in his two 40-yard dashes — according to Long, who overheard several NFL scouts.
