Several authors are new to “Books & Cooks!” this year.

Jane Helen Cooper, author of “Willie and the Tomato Garden,” will be there and so will Michael Hale, author of “North Wind.” Ryan Kinney, from Madison High School’s class of 2000, will have his books “The Pieces,” “Jigsaw” and “Suicidal Poems.”

Other authors will include Carl Feather, Millie Dennis, Chery Casebeer, Lonnie-Sharon Williams, Don Lee, Mary Lewis, and Jennifer Priester.

The Madison Historical Society also will have its books on Madison’s history and a new “Walking Tour Pamphlet.”

Nancy Gottron from Upscale Eats Bakery and Catering is ready to have patrons sample her treats, too.
