Small-business expo set for April 20

The 2018 Lake County Small Business Expo will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 20 at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland.

Organized by Lakeland and the Lake County Chambers of Commerce, the free event showcases a variety of businesses from throughout Lake County. The expo also features a continental breakfast, networking lunch and the opportunity to attend three different small-business learning workshops.

Fitness club plans grand reopening

Snap Fitness at 6581 North Ridge Road in Madison Township will hold a grand-reopening celebration from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 19. The event begins with a 9 a.m. ribbon cutting.

Under new owner Angela DiMichele, the club has undergone a complete remodeling, giving it a fresh new look, along with integrating heart rate technology, a news release stated.

DeMichele said those attending the grand reopening will be impressed with the gym’s welcoming environment and value-added services.

“Day or night, you can expect the same outstanding service and support in our club,” DeMichele said. “Our goal is to provide our community with the best value in town to help them achieve their health and wellness goals by getting the results they deserve.”
