Doris A. Borkey

Doris A. Borkey, 76, of Mentor on the Lake, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Hospice House, Cleveland. She was born December 21, 1941 in Erie, PA to the late Nicholas and Edna Sabolsky. Doris was a loving mother and grandand mother who enjoyed gardening doing puzzles. She was also an avid bowler for many years. She was a big Cleveland sports fan, as well. Survivors include her children, David (Laura) Borkey, Theresa (Fiancé, Tim Lange) Ferko, and James Borkey; grandchildren, Nicole (Greg) Wolf, Jacklyn (Ivan) Glagola, James Ferko, Jr., Kim Borkey, Jenny Borkey, Jason Borkey, and Mike Borkey; great-grandchildren, Oliver Glagola and Landon Wolf; siblings, Vera (Russell) Faulk and Leonard (Chris) Sabolsky; sister-in-law, Sharon Sabolsky; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Borbrother, key; sons, Robert Borkey, Jr. and Patrick Borkey; and Alex Sabolsky.

A Funeral Service will be held 8 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & CreMentor, mation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., OH 44060.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve Naof tional Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
