Library plans programs at Hub
Mentor Public Library is hosting a slate of special programs from 3 to 8 p.m. April 25 at Mentor High School’s Hub.
First, everyone can relax by coloring from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 25. Coloring is more than kitsch or nostalgia. It can help decrease stress and anxiety while increasing focus and concentration, even for grownups, according to a news release.
Then, families of college-bound students can learn strategies and methods for affording college at 5:30 p.m. An expert from the Lake-Geauga Educational Assistance Foundation will explain how and where to find tuition assistance.
Finally, the library will offer a special family story time at 6:30 p.m.
All of these programs and services will be in Mentor High School’s renovated and revitalized library, now called The Hub, at 6477 Center St. This evening is open to all and free to attend.
