ZONING HISTORY
• November 2006: Phase 1 of a mixed-use development proposed by Rick Osborne Jr. was rezoned to Old Village District by the electorate.
• January 2007: Mentor Planning Commission approved Phase 2 of the development (the Lake National Bank building).
• November 2008: Rezoning for Phase 2, involving 40 townhomes on about 5 acres, was denied by the electorate.
• April 2009: The Commission approved a minor subdivision of 10 sublots on the west side of the Presley Avenue Extension for singlefamily homes.
• October 2013: The Commission approved a preliminary subdivision of 15 sublots on Presley Avenue with conditions.
• April 2014: The Commission approved a Presley Avenue subdivision consisting of 18 sublots.
• November 2014: Voters approved Issue 4 rezoning about 3 acres from Single Family Residential and General Business District to Old Village for Bo Knez’s Center Pointe — several duplex structures with four commercial units and 24 residential units.
• January 2016: The Presley Way subdivision amendment was approved by the Commission to allow for 16 sublots fronting on Presley Avenue and to amend the style of homes and the construction of the driveways.
• January 2017: The Zoning Appeals Board approved variances for the front- and side-yard setbacks for sublots 1 through 11 to coincide with the approved plat.
