COACH OF THE YEAR

Willie Smith Beachwood

With its highly regarded veteran coach at the helm, Beachwood won its second straight Division II state team championship. Smith has built the Bison into a state power — doing so this season in commendable fashion on the track and especially off. Graduating all-time area greats Mia Knight and Leah Roter will be felt, but Beachwood is in good stead.
