• The Lake County Engineer’s Office announced that, weather permitting, Maple Street will be closed between Depot and Main streets in Perry Village from June 25 to June 29 for CSX Railroad to remove asphalt by a crossing, stabilize the base and repair the tracks. Detour signs will be posted.

• Painesvill­e city has received an update from Norfolk Southern Railroad extending the closure of Riverside Drive through June 29. In addition, delays are anticipate­d of up to one hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 2 on East Walnut Avenue between Valley View Drive and Wintergree­n Hill Drive to accommodat­e the delivery of steel beams by the railroad contractor. Delivery times are expected between noon and 2 p.m. but may vary.

There will be no access to emergency vehicles during these deliveries and at the Riverside Drive railroad crossing. Detour signs have been posted.

• The Geauga County Engineer’s Office announced that Claridon Troy Road in Burton Township will be undergoing asphalt resurfacin­g from the Burton Village line to Taylor Wells Road. Work is scheduled to begin on or about June 25 and will last for approximat­ely four weeks. Traffic will be maintained.

• The Geauga County Engineer’s Office announced that Valentine Road in Thompson Township will be closed for bridge and culvert replacemen­ts between the Leroy Township line and Clay Street. Work is scheduled to begin on or about July 2 and will last for approximat­ely three weeks. The detour route will be posted.
