SEE ‘HAMILTON’ FOR $10 (LUCK REQUIRED)

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Playhouse Square announced a digital lottery for “Hamilton” tickets. According to a news release, 37 orchestra tickets will be sold for every performanc­e for $10 each. The show runs July 17 through Aug. 26 at Playhouse Square’s KeyBank State Theatre The digital lottery will open at 11 a.m. July 15 for tickets to the July 17 performanc­e. Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performanc­e, the release states. To enter, use the official app for “Hamilton” — available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store (hamiltonmu­sical.com/app). You also can visit hamiltonmu­sical.com/lottery to register. Winner and non-winner notificati­ons will be sent at about 11 a.m. the day prior to the performanc­e via email and SMS, if mobile number is provided, the release states. Each winning entrant may buy a maximum of two tickets, and there can be only one entry per person. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded, the release states. More of the fine print from the release: Tickets must be bought online with a credit card by 4 p.m. the day prior to the performanc­e using the purchase link and code in a customized notificati­on email. Tickets not claimed by buy that time are forfeited. Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning two hours prior to the performanc­e with a valid photo ID. Lottery tickets void if resold.
