Police investigating suspicious death
Willoughby police are investigating the suspicious death of a 59-year-old man whose body was found in his home July 9.
According to police, officers responded to a welfare check for Sam Pizzuto in the 37000 block of Arlington Drive.
When officers arrived, they found the home locked and when checking the first floor windows, they found what appeared to be Pizzuto lying dead in a bedroom.

Pizzuto was transported to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. A preliminary investigation found that he died from blunt
force trauma to the head.
