Severino piled up 548 career victories over a 28-year coaching career at Lake Catholic before stepping down in January.

“I just feel that it’s time,” Severino said at the time of his resignation. “I want to do some things with my grandkids. That kind of was the issue, and I just feel like Lake Catholic maybe needs a new voice.”

Rob Cline has since been named the Cougars’ new head coach.

Severino will be the guest of honor at the social event at Little Mountain Country Club following the golf tournament. The social event will begin at 4 p.m.

The golf tournament is slated for a 9 a.m. shotgun start. It’s a four-person best-ball format. Cost is $125 per person, which includes bakery breakfast, lunch, buffet dinner, beer, water, soft drinks and commemorative gift.

Dinner-only tickets are $40, and social-only tickets are $10.
