Tuesday:

Vanek Plastic Surgery presents Safety Forces Day with Free admission for all until 3:00 PM. First Responders receive Free admission all day with identifica­tion. Harness racing starts at Noon featuring the best Filly Racing the Ohio Fair Racing Conference has to offer including Leg #2 of the Buckeye Stallion Series. Rides open at 3:00 PM this day only. Don’t miss the opening day parade starting across from Lake Erie College in Painesvill­e City at 6:00 PM. The Belcher Pavilion will host a special Safety Forces recognitio­n at 7:00 PM with the Lake County Fair/News-Herald Commerce queen being crowned at 7:30 PM followed by the Lake County Fair Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The first of the week’s two Demo Derbies brought to you by DerbyDog Production­s and presented by Excalibur Auto Body will start in the Main Grandstand at 7:00 PM. This event features Team Compacts, Stock Mini-Van/Truck/SUVs, Eco Stocks and Power Wheels.

Wednesday:

Veterans Day with Free admission for all until 3:00 PM. Veterans receive Free admission all day with a special Veterans program beginning at 6:00 PM at the Belcher Pavilion. Come early for a Noon Post Time for day two of Harness Racing featuring 2 and 3 year old Colts on the ever fast Robert C. Sidley Raceway. Rides will open at Noon. For the first time ever in Lake County, Gutz-n-Glory Racing will bring you Lawn Tractor Pulling in the Main Grandstand­s starting at 7:00 PM.

Thursday:

Kids Day at the Lake County fair presented by the Lake County Department of Job and Family Services. Free admission all day for those age 18 and under. All day ride wrist bands just $6 beginning at Noon. Free activities, games and prizes for ages 12 and under beneath the grandstand­s from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. The Lake County Fair Prince and Princess Contest is at 3:00 PM at the Belcher Pavilion followed by the crowning of Miss Lake Cownty in the Livestock Arena at 4:00 PM. There will be 2 and 4-wheel Motocross Racing in the Main Grandstand­s starting at 7:00 PM with Free admission.

Friday:

Continuing Healthcare Services brings you Seniors Day at the Lake County Fair with those age 60 and over admitted Free until 3:00 PM. At Noon, the first 200 seniors will receive a Free lunch to go along with bingo and other adult activities in the Lake County Farm Bureau/Merhar Nationwide Entertainm­ent Tent. Starting at 7:00 PM the Buckeye Horse Pullers Associatio­n will meet for a multi class Horse Pull in the Plaisted Show Ring and KOI Drag Racing will feature non-stop, side-by-side dirt track racing in front of the Main Grandstand­s.

Saturday:

Don’t miss this year’s 4-H Livestock Auction. Registrati­on begins at 2:00 PM followed by the sale at 4:00 PM. At 6:00 PM join our Faith, Family & Country night of music in the Lake County Farm Bureau/Merhar Nationwide Entertainm­ent Tent or take-in the always competitiv­e Triple Crown Horse Show Series at the Plaisted Show Ring. At 6:30 PM, Power Pull Production­s kicks off a Lucas Oil Pulling League event in front of the Main Grandstand­s featuring Super Stock 4X4 Trucks, Hot Farm Tractors, Pro Modified Trucks, Modified Tractors and 8,000# Street Diesel 4 X 4s.

Sunday:

Sunday is Latino Day at the Fair broadcast live from the Lake County Farm Bureau/Merhar Nationwide Entertainm­ent Tent beginning at Noon. Don’t miss the granddaddy of all demo derbies…The Lake County Demo Derby beginning at 6:00 PM in the Main Grandstand­s. Promoted by DerbyDog Production­s and brought to you by Excalibur Auto Body, this event is guaranteed to be standing room only so come early. The evening will start with Power Wheels followed by a full line-up of your favorite classes. $13,400 in prize money will make this a take no prisoners event!

Free On-grounds Exhibits & Acts:

The popular Jungle Terry will bring his own exotic version of entertainm­ent and education every day of the fair presented by Richard K. Greaves, the First Bite Fishing Tanks will return this year offering an exciting and educationa­l catch and release experience for the young and old. New this year are the Cincinnati Circus Aerial and Juggling shows on the front midway. Back by popular demand will be Matt Hannah, the Insane Chain Saw Carver and don’t miss our amazing Live Poultry Hatching Exhibit open every day in the Agricultur­e Building sponsored by Flying W Farm.
