Riverside roughs up Harvey

The Battle of Painesvill­e again went to Riverside.

The visiting Beavers improved to 2-1 after they defeated Harvey, 41-6, on Sept. 7 at Jack Britt Stadium.

Things got started after Harvey went three and out on their first possession, and the Beavers striked first on a 32-yard TD catch by Nick Mlakar.

It became a 14-0 game on a 12yard touchdown run by Bilal Abdussatar. He also scored again with 30 seconds left in first quarter from 28 yards out.

After Riverside scored again midway through the second quarter, Harvey got on the board on Gil Kalina Hammond‘s 2-yard touchdown catch.

Riverside’s Joseph Robinson caught a 54yard touchdown pass to make it 34-6. The Beavers closed out the scoring on Patrick Gonzalez’s 10-yard touchdown run.

Riverside >> Andrew Keller completed 8 of his 13 passes for 152 yards; Running back Abdussatar carried the ball four times for 58 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Harvey >> Devon Holbert had six carries for 21 yards
