The following events are planned at Perry Public Library, 3753 Main St., Perry:
• Re-enactment of Clara Barton 7 p.m. Sept. 18.
Join Living history performer, Carol StarreKmiecik as she re-enacts one of the most honored women in American history, Clara Barto. Experience Clara Barton’s experiences as a Civil War nurse, Red Cross leader and teacher. Don’t forget to register online at www. perrypubliclibrary.org or call 440-259-3300.
• Author Mary Ann Whitley will relate the compelling stories of the 55 people aboard the Titanic traveling to Ohio from her book, “Ohio Titanic” at 7 p.m. Sept. 20.
• Battle of the Libraries Trivia Contest 7 p.m. Sept. 25.
Trivia teams from Perry, Willoughby-Eastlake and Madison libraries will battle for the coveted Library Trivia Championship Trophy/
The library that has the most supporters will receive 5 extra bonus points. The top two winning teams from this match will be eligible to compete in the competition next quarter and challenge a new library team.
• What’s Cooking? A Dish from your Heritage, 7 p.m. Sept. 27.
This month the group will be making a traditional dish from our heritage to share, along with the recipe.
