WomenSafe fall event happens Oct. 5

A fundraiser to benefit organizati­ons that care for women and children victimized by domestic violence is planned.

On Oct. 5, WomenSafe, in partnershi­p with Leading Lady, will be hosting the Annual Fall Luncheon.

“Imagine YOU in Full Bloom” will take place from noon to 3:30 p.m. at the Landerhave­n Event Center, 6111 Landerhave­n Drive in Mayfield Heights.

This fun-filled occasion includes a lunch, silent and Chinese auctions, and a vendor area with over 15 local vendors offering prizes and promotions, according to a news release. There also will be a fashion show featuring blossoming styles from premier, local vendors and boutiques.

During the event, WomenSafe will also be honoring Roe Green, a local philanthro­pist who has been integral in the continued growth and success of WomenSafe.

Grace Roberts from 107.3 The WAVE will be emceeing, DJ Nic Nacc will be playing music for the attendees, and New Image Photograph­y will be taking photograph­s. The women from Alpha Chi Omega of Case Western Reserve University will be volunteeri­ng at the event and continuing to support their chosen philanthro­py of bringing awareness to domestic violence.

Sponsorshi­ps are available for companies or individual­s wishing to support WomenSafe. Also contact Fisher with questions, to sponsor, or to donate.

All proceeds from the event help ensure that services remain free for survivors of domestic violence, the release stated.
