Auditor Walder releases details on purchasing 2019 dog licenses
Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder is urging all dog owners to purchase 2019 dog licenses on or before Jan. 31.
Licenses purchased by that date are $15 per dog while a $15 penalty will be added to all licenses purchased after the deadline.
There are two other options for registration this year and they are a threeyear tag for $45 and a lifetime tag for $150. These are available only at the Auditor’s office.
Checks should be made payable to Charles E. Walder, Geauga County Auditor.
Again this year residents will be able to purchase their dog licenses on the Auditor’s secure website, http://www.auditor. co.geauga.oh.us. A fee of $1 per transaction will be assessed.
Owners of new dogs also can purchase their tags any time during the year at the Auditor’s Office, outlying agents, or by mail.
