Jeffery W. Sinclair

Jeffery W. Sinclair, 48, of Mentor, passed away November 22, 2018 at Brookdale of Mentor.

He was born March 4, 1970, in Cleveland.

Jeff worked as an electrician at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and was a member of Local 38.

He enjoyed rooting for his Cleveland sports teams, most importantly the Browns. He treasured the days spent on the golf course with his dad and always loved when his mom spoiled him with her homemade pumpkin pies. Spending time with his entire family was important to him. Jeff was very proud of his son’s involvement with the Mentor Band Program and he loved hearing and watching him perform at his concerts. He was also incredibly proud of Jack’s academic achievements and was excited for his future. Jeff was the epitome of strength and courage these past four years as he battled cancer. He showed us all what a real Warrior looked like.

Survivors are his wife, Lauri; son, Jack; parents, Glenn and Nancy Sinclair; siblings, Jason, James, Joseph, and Jonathan (Lisa) Sinclair, Jennifer (Jerry) Tucker, and Mary (David) Perdock. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.

Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, OH 44060. (Please meet at the church.)

It was very important to Jeff that Jack continue his education through college, and because of that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jack Sinclair college fund.
