Wide receiver Jarvis Landry was added to the Pro Bowl team on Jan. 16 when DeAndre Hopkins of the Texans was excused with a shoulder injury suffered in the Texans’ 21-7 wild-card loss to the Colts.

The Browns Pro Bowl contingent is now up to four.

Wide receiver Jarvis Landry was added to the Pro Bowl team on Jan. 16 when DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texans was excused with a shoulder injury suffered in the Texans’ 21-7 wildcard playoff loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Landry joins Browns guard Joel Bitonio, defensive end Myles Garrett and cornerback Denzel Ward in the NFL’s version of an All-Star game. Garrett and Ward were voted to the game to be played 3 p.m. Jan. 27 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Bitonio was originally a first alternate. He was added to the team because Steelers guard David DeCastro is out with an undisclosed injury.

“It’s always an honor to be named to the Pro Bowl,” Landry said in a statement. “This is my fourth time going, but my first being able to wear the orange helmet and represent the Cleveland Browns. So this is very special for me.”

The Browns acquired Landry last March in a trade with the Miami Dolphins. He averaged 100 catches per season and made the Pro Bowl each of his last three years in Miami.

Landry led the Browns with 81 catches and 976 receiving yards in 2018. He scored on four touchdown catches and had one rushing touchdown.
