KidShow at Great Lakes Mall seeking exhibitors, participants

- Staff report

The KidShow will return to Great Lakes Mall in Mentor for its 21st time on March 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and March 24, from noon to 5 p.m.

Each year, this free event brings thousands of families from all over Northeast Ohio to the mall seeking resources to help make family-decision making and planning easier, according to a news release.

Designed to get good information into busy parents’ hands, the KidShow is where companies can share their products and services while having the opportunity to talk with their target market.

“Past KidShow success has been based on our exhibitors and their engaging participation with attendees,” said the show’s producer, Patty Perry, in the release. “This year we welcome back past exhibitors and look forward to adding new companies to the event.”

On-site exhibit space ranges from $250 to $495 with locations available throughout the mall.

A new featured area this year is for Special Needs. This area will focus on resources and services available for parents and caregivers.

Family pets will have its own identified section, new as well, for vendors specializing in pet services and products.

Additional ways to participate in the KidShow are available and include the Goody Bag Marketing Program, Snack Attack (100 snacks provided), prize donations and mascot participation, the release stated.

In addition, 2019 brings a new bonus to participation with a quarterly networking opportunity called KidShow Quarterly. This will be a free networking opportunity for all those involved with the KidShow in any way; sponsors, exhibitors, entertainers, goody bag participants and prize donators, the release stated.
