Boston University

Katarzyna Bieniek, a resident of Eastlake, has recently been named to the Dean’s List at Boston University for the Fall semester.

Each school and college at Boston University has their own criterion for the Dean’s List, but students generally must attain a 3.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), or be in the top 30 percent of their class, as well as a full course load as a full- time student.

Olivet Nazarene University

Courtney Ritchey of Euclid was named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University during the recently completed fall 2018 semester.

To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergradu­ate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

University of Alabama

Anthony Giovinale of Montville has received the following from The University of Alabama — a bachelor of science degree in Human Environmen­tal Science.

Siena College

Natalie Weaver has been named to the Siena College Dean’s List for the Fall 2018 semester. Weaver is from Mentor.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student’s grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.

Clemson University

Local residents were among students who graduated in December from Clemson University. They are: • Mackenzie Jacqueline Wangler of Chagrin Falls, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

• Amanda Marie Pona of Mentor-on-the-Lake, who graduated with a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning.

Washington University

The following students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester at Washington University in St. Louis:

• Amelia Delzell of Chagrin Falls,is enrolled in the university’s McKelvey School of Engineerin­g. To qualify for the Dean’s List in the McKelvey School of Engineerin­g, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 12 graded units.

• Maggie Amjad of Cleveland is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences. To qualify for the Dean’s List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

• Monica Sass of Cleveland is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences. To qualify for the Dean’s List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

• Mark Sigel of Cleveland is enrolled in the university’s McKelvey School of Engineerin­g. To qualify for the Dean’s List in the McKelvey School of Engineerin­g, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 12 graded units.

• Alyssa Hunt of Willoughby is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences. To qualify for the Dean’s List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.
