Aug. 7 was the filing deadline for candidates and issues to appear on the Nov. 5 general election ballot.

The following is the list of candidates and issues that were filed in Geauga County by the 4 p.m. deadline. Please note this is not the finalized list. Elections board officials will certify filings in the coming weeks.
