Boys & Girls Clubs names chief administra­tive officer

Bill Reynolds, a financial expert with a 25-year track record of working with organizati­ons to boost cash flow and profitabil­ity, has been named chief administra­tive officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio.

Reynolds had been serving in a consulting role as chief financial officer for BGCNEO, the organizati­on formed in 2019 by the merger of Clubs in Cleveland,

Akron, Lorain County and

Erie County.

In his new role, he will manage all finance and administra­tive functions in the organizati­on, according to a news release.

the release “He was instrument­al in the success of the merger, and his management of finance and administra­tive items across the regions will give us tremendous economies of scale and leverage.

“In addition, Bill’s calm, assertive and optimistic nature quickly and effectivel­y puts others at ease. He is a role model of positivity.”

Reynolds spent the early part of his career with Fortune 500 corporatio­ns like Eli Lilly and Sara Lee. He then shifted his focus to privately held companies like Eagle Family Foods, Longaberge­r, Inno-Pak, Newton Oil and Proteam Solutions, as well as nonprofits like Volunteers of America, Flying Horse Farms and Boys & Girls Clubs.

He has expertise in a wide range of areas, including financial planning and reporting, risk management and employee benefits, the release stated.

Reynolds lives in the Columbus suburb of Gahanna.

Boys & Girls Clubs seek to provide safe, fun places for kids ages 6-18 after school with an emphasis on academic success, healthy lifestyles and character developmen­t. Prior to a temporary shutdown due to the coronaviru­s pandemic, BGCNEO was operating 39 locations in five counties. Nine Clubs were reopened on June 15.
