Versatile Miami commit averaged 1.8 kills and 2.7 digs per set for the Division II Jefferson District champion Lions, while racking up a team-high 51 aces.

MH Abby Carter, Sr., North:

High-caliber dualsport athlete committed to Akron for basketball averaged 2.9 kills per set for the Rangers last year. Carter will be a focal point of the offense this season after Julia Kerns’ graduation.

MH Mollee Chapman, Sr., Berkshire:

Averaged 3.1 kills, 2.9 assists and 2.8 digs per set for the Badgers last year to earn first-team All-CVC and first-team alldistric­t honors in D-III.

M Stella DeJohn, Jr., Kirtland:

Posted 2.7 kills and 1.1 blocks per set for a Kirtland team that won 18 games and returns many of its key contributo­rs this season.

OH Sammie DiBease, Jr., Perry:

DiBease moved from Lake Catholic to Perry before her sophomore year and enjoyed a breakout season, pounding out 3.7 kills per set to earn recognitio­n as a second-team News-Herald all-star.

S Haley Domen, So., Cardinal:

Started as a freshman for the Huskies and commanded the back row, averaging 7 assists and 3.4 digs per set while finishing among the area leaders with 55 aces. Ranks among the area’s best in volleyball IQ.

S Maddie Herman, Sr., Riverside:

Entering her fourth year as a starter for the Beavers, Herman is the area’s leading returning passer after handing out 9.2 assists per set in 2019.

MH Margo Huff, Sr., South:

UNC Wilmington commit led the Rebels with 3.3 kills and 0.6 blocks per set and was a first-team News-Herald allstar. Among the area’s best all-around offensive players.

OH Caroline Jurevicius, So., NDCL:

Highly-touted freshmen delivered on the hype, posting a team-high 3.4 kills per set to earn firstteam News-Herald all-star honors.

L Emmy Klika, Sr., Gilmour:

Pitt commit led the area with 8.1 digs per set and recorded a team-high 65 aces. Anchor of the Lancers’ deep, talented back row. A first-team News-Herald all-star in 2019.

OH Megan Kocsis, Sr., Mayfield:

Averaged 3.9 kills per set on a .388 hitting percentage, while averaging 3.8 digs per set to earn first-team All-WRC honors as a junior.

OH Darby Leininger, Sr., Beaumont:

Leininger enters her fourth year as a starter for coach Pat Royer. Averaged 3.1 kills per set last year.

OH Kathryn Randorf, Jr., Gilmour:

Defending NewsHerald Player of the Year led the area with 4.1 kills per set to help lead Gilmour to a state appearance.

MB Jen Sivak, Sr., Riverside:

Bucknell commit enters her fourth year starting for the Beavers after averaging 3.1 kills and 0.8 blocks per set. A first-team News-Herald all-star in 2019.

L Morgan Stoltz, Sr., Geneva:

Scrappy and highly competitiv­e in the back row, Stoltz averaged 4.5 digs per set and will take on a heightened leadership role following the graduation of Jordan Vencill.

OH Norah Vargo, Jr., Lake Catholic:

Among the area’s best at the service line, Vargo’s play improved in the second half of her sophomore year. Averaged 2.5 kills and 3.1 digs per set while recording 41 aces.

L Emma Walker, Sr., Mentor:

Cleveland State commit averaged 5 digs per set as a junior. Cardinals will count on her for leadership after graduating a senior class that included two D-I players in Caitlin Churney and Maddie Stayer.

OH Jessica Wilson, Jr., Lake Catholic:

Emerged as a weapon for the Cougars in her sophomore year, averaging 2.5 kills per set in a season capped by a 22-kill performanc­e in a district final loss to NDCL.
