Support responsible government, end tyranny

-

I write with my concerns over what’s happening within our government.

We have three equal branches, the Legislative, the Judiciary, and the Administrative: yet it appears that the “Administration” is taking over all of the responsibilities of governing.

Where are you Congress? Why is it necessary to destroy the United States Post Office? It was the finest in the world! It could still be: we need to stop undermining it, and start supporting it; start providing leadership. Please! Don’t let our post office be destroyed. Why is this vital institution being sabotaged? Is this just to attack our right to vote? Or, is it to privatize this vital institution?

Our post office gets cards and packages around the country in record time during the holiday season, I’m sure they can handle mail in ballots, if their hands are not tied. The USPS it’s not supposed to be a political entity! Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution gives Congress the mandate “to establish post offices“for the benefit of all of us.

We need leadership to challenge the coronavirus; people need help and we all need hope. It’s the lack of responsible leadership that has gotten us to the point of needing “mail in” voting. This virus may only get worse by November.

What’s happening to the CDC, a world renowned agency. Responsibility for managing the government response; the leadership for conquering COVID-19 has been taken out of their hands, or so it appears. We need science not politics.

We don’t need tyrannical rule. We are “a government of the people, by the people, and for the people” of the United States, to quote President Lincoln. Our members of Congress have secure jobs, for now! While, many of their constituents are afraid of going to work, many seniors are afraid of going out anywhere, due to coronavirus.

There are those who think that this is all a hoax! Let’s face it we are in the midst of a pandemic; do we need added drama?

What we need is intelligent governance: desperately.

I encourage all of you to support democracy: end the tyranny, work to reestablish responsible government! Support our USPS!
