On the court: She had 34 points, five rebounds, four steals, two assists and a block in a win over Crestwood, then had 32 points (including five 3-pointers), nine rebounds, five steals and three assists in a win over LaBrae.

Off the court: “My favorite sports memory for varsity volleyball is when we played Berkshire my freshman year when I was sick and still played. I had my coach call a timeout and I ran off the court to the bathroom. I threw up and came running back just in time for the timeout to be over and ran back on the court and kept playing. My favorite varsity basketball memory is swishing a halfcourt buzzer-beater vs. Grand Valley and not knowing it went in until my teammates ran up to me.” Hobbies include basketball, volleyball, softball and track and field. Loves math and doing anything outside. Favorite food is lasagna and stuffed shells. Favorite movie is “Yogi Bear.” Favorite show is “All American.” Favorite teams are the Cavaliers, Browns, Ohio State and the Indians.

In the pool: Broke the school record for 1-meter diving with a six-dive score of 210.8.

Out of the pool: Will run cross country and track and field at Ohio Northern. Loves anything Star Wars. On diving, adds: “Diving against (Shaker Heights state record holder) Lyle Yost was amazing to do, seeing someone so good and humble.”

In the gym: In a meet on Jan. 8, was first in the all-around with a 35.05, first on bars with a 9.15, second on vault (8.7), third on floor (8.9) and fourth on beam (8.3).

Out of the gym: Main sport has always been gymnastics. “I loved the idea of practicing every day and watching my skills get harder over the years. I would say my favorite part about doing gymnastics is the team aspect. I love competing with all my friends and then going out to dinner after to celebrate. If I am not at practice, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends, getting gains at the gym, eating Chick-fil-A, taking a nap or

watching ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ “
