Owned and operated in Cleveland since 1979, the new Willoughby Marc’s will be the 61st store to join the Marc’s chain.

The Willoughby location, 34881 Euclid Ave., will celebrate its grand opening at 7 a.m. Feb. 3. The location occupies more than 38,500 square feet of retail space, allowing for extra social distancing efforts while shopping.

“Over the past 40 years, Marc’s has grown to one of Northeast Ohio’s largest, locally owned grocer,” said Tom Thielman, Willoughby’s economic development director. “Willoughby is pleased to welcome the newest and one of the largest Marc’s stores to our community.”

The new Marc’s store represents a multimillion dollar investment in an important shopping area and provides

much needed jobs, Thielman said.

“Our entire team is working hard to provide high quality, fresh products to our shoppers during these unprecedented times,” said Marc’s President Kevin Yaugher.

“We are committed to providing the communities we serve with the best prices on items families

need while ensuring a safe shopping experience.”

Marc’s in Willoughby will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays with a special hour from 6 to 7 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday dedicated to senior citizens and others at high risk.

The Marc’s chain operates throughout the Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Dayton and Columbus regions.
