Funeral Mass for Lawrence Rice III, 51, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Father Tim Plavac will officiate.

Larry passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at his residence.

Born March 31, 1969, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.

Larry was a kind hearted, fun loving man that idolized his family and friends. He was an amazing son, wonderful brother and devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews. Larry loved spending time pool side with his family, boating, fishing with his “fishing buddies” and family. He was a passionate Steelers Fan, who always dressed the part. He will be missed dearly by all.

He was the beloved son of JoAnn M. (nee Romano) Rice; loving brother of Lorraine Marie (Gregory) Smolik, John D. (Kate) Rice, and JoAnn Marie (Timothy) Vlach; step-brother, Gary (Vern) Baggett and Denise (Michael) Signor; cherished uncle of Daniel, Adam, Angela, Kayla, Olivia (Lee), Austin, Jordan, Joshua and Chandler; greatuncle of Matthew, Isabella, Gabriella, Alexis and Joshua; great-great-uncle of Parker Evan; and nephew of Lorraine Price.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Rice Jr.; sister, Jacqueline Marie Thomas; and uncle, Elmer Price.

Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

John R. Kollm, age 69, passed away on February 26, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, Oh on May 12, 1951 to the late Rudolph and Eulas Kollm.

John was the beloved husband of Gloria Kollm (nee Glowacki) for 50 years, a loving father of Joshua Kollm, and Sara Kollm (Robert Miller); and a proud grandfathe­r of Jackson Sakal; and a cherished twin brother of the late Jane Strmac.

John was a man on many talents and interests. He worked as a precision machinist for many years of his life before retirement. In his spare time, John would build models of all kinds. He also enjoyed painting, playing guitar, and fishing when he got the chance. Most of all, John loved spending time with his entire family. In addition, John was very proud to be a long standing member of AA for 36 years. He is going to be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends from 4 - 8 PM on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake, OH 44095. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland.
