Summer in the Smokies! The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is the mostvisited national park in the USA, and one of our very favorite places to be! We have chosen the things we love most in this picturesque ‘neck of the woods’, and are excited for the opportunity to show it all to you! ~~ Arriving in Pigeon Forge, TN, we’ll check into our home for the next 3 nights, Dolly Parton’s beautiful “DreamMore” Resort, where Dolly’s personal touches are sprinkled thru-out the property! Enjoy dinner on your own in her Song & Hearth Restaurant * We’re joined by a local professional guide for a 3-hour tour thru the Great Smoky Mountains to witness this beautiful mountain range that reaches towering heights of nearly 7,000 ft, but is most famous for its magical, smoky haze. World-renowned for its diversity of plant & animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains and the sounds of picturesque rivers & waterfalls harmonize together creating a stunning panorama like none other! * A second highlight will be your day in Asheville, NC at the unbelievable 8,000-acre Biltmore Estate, the 1895 French Renaissance castle built by the Vanderbilt’s. Enter the 250-room mansion with 65 fireplaces and 43 bathrooms (wow!), cast your eyes across 75 acres of beautiful gardens to see what’s in bloom... and enjoy a lovely lunch right in their Deerpark Restaurant, a former cow barn! * One evening will find us at the Pirate’s Voyage Dinner Show where Blackbeard leads his crew in a battle on land, on deck, in water and high above full-sized pirate ships in a 15-ft deep indoor hideaway lagoon! We’ve been here ourselves, and it WOW’s everyone who sees it! * Enjoy reserved seats at the spectacular Country Tonite Theater, voted the #1 show in all of the Smokies! This ultimate musical variety show features dynamic singing and dancing, side-splitting comedy, powerful Gospel, and American patriotism. You don’t have to be a fan of country music to LOVE Country Tonite - it’s that “feel-good” kind of show that is always a GREAT experience! * Guided tour of Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery - This family-owned (shhh - and once illegal) company is the first federally-licensed distillery in all of East TN. Hear the history, stories & traditions that made this one of the greatest success stories ever to come out of Appalachia - Fun! * Free time in quaint Gatlinburg loaded with little shops * Dinner at Applewood Farmhouse where the timber of the apple tree is used to smoke food - a delicious experience! * Includes 3B, 1L, 2D ~~ This is an EXCELLENT itinerary ~ It’s loaded all the way thru!! * $1,178 per/person, double occ * $1,078 p/p triple occ * $998 p/p, quad occ * $1,528 single
