Laura J. Fenzl (nee Brandich), age 59, died March 31, 2021 after a 25 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was a former resident of Hilliard, Ohio. Laura was the loving mother of Jake and Bailey, dearest daughter of Margaret (nee Walsh) and Emery Brandich and dear sister of Jerry (deceased), Janet (Bob) Kraus, Patty (Sam) Knezevic, Noreen Brandich and Kevin (Kim) Brandich. Laura is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Laura was born October 2, 1961, and grew up in Euclid, Ohio. She was a proud alumna of Villa Angela Academy, class of 1979. Laura graduated cum laude from The James A. Nance College of Business Administration of Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science. She was also elected a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the academic honor society for top business school students. Laura went on to have a successful career as a Systems Analyst and Information Technology consultant.

Through the years Laura was known affectionately as Lala, Lovable, Mona and Lovie, but the name she most loved to hear was her children calling her Mom. She had a wicked sense of humor which, when combined with her mischievous smile and sparkling blue eyes, often belied her distress at the increasingly debilitating effects of MS.

For this reason, in lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in Laura’s memory to Tisch MS Research Center of New York, Development Department, 521 W 57th St. 4th Floor, New York, New York 10019 or online at (https://www. tischms.org).
