Dealership makes donation to UCP of Greater Cleveland
As part of its ongoing support of local communities, on April 22, Subaru of America, Inc. and Adventure Subaru presented a check for $15,469 to United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland, according to a news release from the dealership
UCP of Greater Cleveland was selected by Adventure Subaru in Painesville as their hometown charity choice for the 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event.
From Nov. 19, 2020, to Jan. 4, 2021, with every new Subaru purchased or leased, Subaru donated $250 to each customer’s choice of charities*. For the fifth year in a row, there was no cap on the total donation from Subaru of America to its Share the Love charitable partners. When combined with participating Subaru retailer donations, the total donation climbed to $26.2 million in 2020. More than $200 million has been donated to charities throughout the last 13 years of the campaign, the release detailed.
For 2020, SOA selected the four national charities: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America, and National Park Foundation, while Subaru retailers could also elect to add a hometown charity to help support their community, according to the release. Adventure Subaru selected UCP of Greater Cleveland as its hometown charity and listed it as an organization that customers could select to receive the 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event donation.
The check for $15,469 was presented to Renee Canfield, Director of Development of UCP of Greater Cleveland by Evan Fineberg, owner of Adventure Subaru.
