CAROL ANN LANG (nee Ammiller) age 77, beloved wife for 37 years of Dennis; loving step-mother of Charisse Stone (husband Daniel) and the late Barret; devoted grandmother of Lauren (husband Kris), Denise and Charidan (husband Tanner) and Cameron Stone (fiancé Carly); cherished daughter of the late Carl and Emma (nee Wisintainer) Ammiller; dearest sister of the late Donald Ammiller (wife Wanda); dear aunt of Michelle Huss (husband Donald) and Mathew (wife Jessica) and great-aunt of many.

Carol was born on February 20, 1944 in Dover, Ohio and passed away peacefully on May 4, 2021. She lived in Mentor and moved to Stow after marrying the love of her life, Dennis. They then settled in Newbury to be closer to work. Carol was a parishioner of St. Helen Catholic Church for 10 years. She also belonged to the “Who’s Who” organization. Carol graduated from Dover High School and went on to work at Gradeall and Chase Brass. She then earned her bachelor’s degree at Lake Erie College. She loved children and taught at Henington Elementary School then 1st grade at Painesville City Schools. Carol had a passion and love for animals, reading, and cooking. Her and Dennis also enjoyed classic cars with collection of 5 models. Carol enjoyed listening to 50’s music, early rock n’ roll, and country music. She greatly enjoyed having friends over for dinner, attending car shows, and shopping. Carol loved children, animals, and wanted to help anyone she could, was very religious, and always had a smile on her face.

Contributions may be made in memory of Carol to the American Cancer Society. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury Twp. 44065. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory.
