IWAS Museum to hold online trivia night
The International Women’s Air & Space Museum announced it will host its first Virtual Trivia Night at 7 p.m., May 19.
This event is a culmination of the museum’s continuing efforts to serve its communities while travel is still limited, according to a news release.
Participants do not need to be experts in aviation or aerospace, and those looking for a fun way to compete and learn are encouraged to register.
“We’re very excited to offer this new program for our community,” says Executive Director Sara Fisher in the release.
“The team and board at the museum are always looking for ways to bring history to life and directly to you. What better way than through trivia and a little friendly competition?”
Registration is required, and each participant will receive a confirmation email with the link to join the Zoom program. Registration is $15 for nonIWASM members, $12 for IWASM members.
To register, visit iwasm. org or call 216-623-1111.
The night will include first-, second-, and thirdplace prizes, as well as a chance to win a special raffle basket.
A donation of $1 will get the participant one raffle ticket for a chance to win a signed copy of “Handprints on Hubble: An Astronaut’s Story of Invention by astronaut Dr. Kathy Sullivan.”
The museum, located inside Burke Lakefront Airport, offers free admission. Exhibits are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily, while museum offices and gift shop are open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays or by appointment.
