Chamber seeks sponsors, adds event to golf outing
...golfers and non-golfers alike are invited to a new “19th Hole” event from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce will host its golf outing, presented by Griffin Technology Group and Diamond Sponsor Lake Health, on Aug. 6 at Painesville Country Club, 84 Golf Drive.
It is the chamber’s largest annual event and its only fundraiser, according to a news release.
After 144 golfers take part in a shotgun start, golfers and non-golfers alike are invited to a new “19th Hole” event from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sponsored by Lighthouse Advisors, it will feature networking, food, drink, silent auction items, and more.
Cost is $15 per person and tickets can be purchased online.
“This year we have added the 19th hole, to offer a bonus for anyone that does not want to “try” to golf, where you can join the golfers to network with light appetizers and beverages after the outing,” Stephanie Evans, chamber board member and golf committee co-chair, stated in a news release.
Some event sponsorships are available, including Hole Sponsor at $125. Consider honoring someone, a relative, friend, neighbor, or co-worker, by sponsoring a hole, Executive Director Kelly Donahue said. All the sponsorship opportunities also are online.
The chamber serves the communities of Concord Township, Fairport Harbor, Grand River, Leroy Township, Madison Township, Madison Village, North Perry Village, Painesville City, Painesville Township, Perry Township, Perry Village.
