Walter, age 88, of Mentor, passed away peacefully August 10, 2021 at the Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, OH. He was born January 10, 1933 in West Franklin Twp., PA.

He was a wonderful husband of the late Gloria Smith, father, grandfathe­r and great-grandfathe­r. He married Gloria Jean Smith February 19, 1955. He served in the United States Marines from 1951-1954 after graduating from McKinley High School in Wheeling West Va. After his honorable discharge from the service, he started work at General Motors. He retired after 30 years.

He was an avid golfer. His favorite pastime was fishing. He also joined friends at the Mentor Senior Center to play pinochle. He enjoyed family gatherings at his home. Early in his retirement he set up a workshop where he made wooden toys that were loved by all who saw them at the local craft shows where he put them on display.

He is survived by his sons Carl Kozlosky, Tom (Barb) Kozlosky, Walter Ken Kozlosky; four grandchild­ren, Jim (Diana) Kozlosky, Bob Kozlosky, Kenny Kozlosky, Lisa Kozlosky; and two great-grandchild­ren Natalie and Cameron. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Sandy Kozlosky and MaryAnn Kozlosky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Suzanne (Rakar) Kozlosky, his beloved wife of 64 years, Gloria (Smith) Kozlosky, two brothers, Frank and John Kozlosky, and one daughter in law, Karen Kozlosky. There will be no services or viewing. He will be buried in Mentor Municipal Cemetery.
