Library to take registrations for summer program
Registration begins May 31 for the Fairport Harbor Summer Library Celebration that runs from June 6 to July 30.
The celebration will involve the community and all library users, according to a news release.
Participants can earn prizes by visiting the library, attending programs, and borrowing materials. Also, participants will receive a gift for registering, and child and teen participants will receive a new book for their home library at the end of the summer ice cream social.
The summer will kick off with a community art and craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 11. Attendees will be able to shop display booths of dozens of local artists and crafters, participate in community art projects and watch demonstrations.
The Friends of Fairport Harbor Public Library will be holding a book sale and selling refreshments.
