Robert J. Myers
Robert J. Myers, 73, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 23, 2022.
He was born January 1, 1949 in Painesville, Ohio, the son of the late Robert C. and Iona (McCauley) Myers and graduated from Painesville Riverside High School. After graduation he served in the US Army in Vietnam before being honorably discharged. On April 5, 1969 he married Linda Hnath and together they shared 53 years of love and memories.
Robert retired from Avery Dennison after 36 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, Bingo, going to the Painesville Speedway, and visiting the VFW where he was a lifetime member.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Myers; daughter Robin (Bill) Corbe; grandchildren, Andrew Neubecker, Nicholas (fiancé, Tiffany Lohr) Neubecker, and Ashley Neubecker; great-grandchildren, Leo and Myles Neubecker; siblings, William (Pam) Myers, Terry (Deborah) Myers, and Mary (Robert) Smith; additional children include Robert, Jason Rivers and Martha (Phil) Cahill. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Robert was a very loving and caring person and made a huge impact on a lot of people’s lives. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
