Burton Public Library, 14588 W. Park St., is offering the following events in June:

CHILDREN

Storytime with Miss Amy!: Join Miss Amy for stories, songs, and dance! Ages 2-6. June 7, 14, 21, 28, 10:30 to 11 a.m. No registrati­on.

Summer Reading KickOff Party: Featuring The Chardon Polka Band! Play jumbo yard games, eat some snacks, and enjoy balloon creations by Cracker Jack and Company! All ages. June 8, 2 to 3 p.m. No registrati­on.

Wacky Wonderful Undersea Creatures: Join us Friday afternoons for an ocean-themed activity with “Mama” Rosen. Ages 512.

Beaches and Beach Creatures: Join us Friday afternoons for an ocean-themed activity with “Mama” Rosen. Ages 5- 12. June 17, 2to 3 p.m. Registrati­on required. Outback Ray’s Amazing Animal Show: Outback Ray’s Amazing Animal Show is fun, exciting and very educationa­l. This hands on show is extremely entertaini­ng for kids of ALL ages. Monday: June 20, 1 to 2 p.m. No registrati­on. Undersea Mammals: Join us Friday afternoons for an ocean-themed activity with “Mama” Rosen. Ages 5– 12. Friday: June 24, 2 to 3 p.m. Registrati­on required. Ocean Pal Pet Adoption: Adopt a special stuffy pet and create an amazing aquarium home! All ages. June 27, 2 to 2:45 p.m. or 3 to 3:45 p.m. Registrati­on required.

Tie-Dye Party: Summer is here and it’s time to get your groove on! Please bring a white T-shirt to tie-dye. Tie-dye supplies provided. Ages 12 and over. June 13, 3 to 4 p.m. Registrati­on required.

Cleveland Baseball Author Talk: Join Scott H. Longert to talk about his new book, Victory on Two Fronts: The Cleveland Indians and Baseball during the World War II Years. June 20, 6 to 7 p.m. Registrati­on required.
