Amateur radio group hosting Field Day
Members of the Lake County Amateur Radio Association will be participating in the national amateur radio Field Day exercise June 25-26 at the Lake County Historical Society.
Field Day is a showcase for how amateur radio works reliably under any conditions from almost any location to create an independent communications network, according to a news release from the group.
The event will be from 2 p.m. to midnight June 25 and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 26 at Lake County Historical Society, 415 Riverside Drive, Painesville Township.
It is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
