Baltimore, MD is rich in history, with monuments and historic sites commemorating significant periods in history - not just to the city, but to the nation, as well. It’s also the largest seaport in the nation and home to a plethora of notable venues such as Fort McHenry which was the birthplace of the National Anthem, Edgar Allan Poe’s home, the Washington Monument (built before the one in D.C.!) and historic ships including the ‘USS Constellation’. ~ Because of these prominent things, the scenic Inner Harbor is one of the most popular places to celebrate the 4th of July in the country. Right at the heart of everything, people gather by the water to enjoy live music performances, feast from local food trucks, and stretch out on picnic blankets across the Harbor promenade and adjacent Federal Hill while anticipating the evening’s massive fireworks bursting in the air commemorating the independence of our nation! ~ But that’s not all that’s part of this delightful tour…* 2 Nights right in the midst of the Inner Harbor at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel – gorgeous waterfront location * Welcome Dinner at Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, an upscale restaurant with all-you-can-eat meat carved tableside plus an extensive salad bar * Time at the B & O Railroad Museum located in a huge, historic Roundhouse possessing the oldest and most comprehensive American railroad collection in the world * The outstanding National Aquarium featuring over 9,000 creatures, representing 600 different species of mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, and amphibians in naturalistic habitats – truly awesome! * A festive 4th of July Picnic on the 7th Floor outdoor terrace of our Hotel * “All Aboard” a lovely sightseeing yacht that will take us out amidst the Harbor to a prime location for viewing the stunning Fireworks that will explode over the water to celebrate our nation’s 247th birthday– super-exciting! –(this activity cannot be confirmed at this writing – if unavailable, we will walk over to view the Fireworks from the Inner Harbor itself) * Excellent lunch at Phillips Seafood in the iconic renovated Power Plant building amidst the Inner Harbor (land-lover dish available) * A Step-on Guide will join us on our deluxe coach as we enjoy an fascinating Baltimore City Tour – so many things to discover and learn about that you likely never knew were part of its intriguing past & present! * 2B, 1L, 2D ** $895 per/person, double occ * $865 p/p, triple/quad occ * $995 single
