LEC welcomes storyteller
Professional storyteller Paul Strickland returns to Lake Erie College at 7 p.m. March 16 to present his show “Once Upon a Lie” in the CK Rickel Theatre at Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts on the campus in Painesville.
The performance of “Once Upon a Lie” is free and open to the public, but because seats are limited, advance reservations are requested by visiting LEC’s website. Free, parking is in the lot adjacent to Royce Hall, with the lot entrance on Gillett Street.
Strickland is a storyteller and theater artist with well over seven hours of unique family friendly stories in his repertoire, according to a news release. His tall tales stretch the imagination and have won “Best of Fest” seven times at Fringe Festivals in the U.S. and Canada.
Strickland will also give a workshop to students in Professor Jaffe’s CMY 101 Introduction to Comedy course at 9:30 a.m. March 16 in Royce Hall. The community is welcome to observe. Those interested in attending should contact Prof Jaffe at 440-375-7451.
