The University of Mount Union hosted its 16th Annual Student Celebration Honoring Our Latest Academic Research Day.
SCHOLAR Day is traditionally a campus-wide, day-long event filled with presentations showcasing academic excellence and scholarly research conducted by Mount Union students.
Area students included: Cheyanne Bosse of Montville was selected to give a poster presentation titled “Working Through Depression Without Additional Side Effects.”
Macei Carter of Willowick was selected to give a formal presentation titled “The Relationship Between Emotional and Physical Parental Absence on Childhood Anxiety.”
Brendan Friedrich of Mentor was selected to give a poster presentation titled “Performing Homemade Instruments.”
Alaina Metzler of Geneva was selected to give a formal, poster presentation titled “Stayin’ Alive, Stayin’ Alive: A Study of Memory and Reaction Time in Diverse Populations”, “Performing Homemade Instruments.”
Emily Miller of Geneva was selected to give a formal presentation titled “The Effects of Different Dosages of Vitamin D3 Supplementation on Mental Wellness & Muscular Strength in College Students.”
Marissa Radmore of Painesville was selected to give a formal presentation titled “The Relationship Between Emotional and Physical Parental Absence on Childhood Anxiety.”
Alexis Temple of Mentor was selected to give a formal presentation titled “The Relationship Between Emotional and Physical Parental Absence on Childhood Anxiety.”
Rita Pollock of Mentor was selected to give a poster presentation titled “The Things We Don’t Talk About.”
