Knights hosting blood drive

Knights of Columbus Geneva-Madison 5286 announced it will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross from 1 to 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at 6113 North Ridge Road West in Geneva.

For more information or to make an appointment to donate, call 440812-4870 or sign up at redcrossblood.org with sponsor code KOFCGENEVA. Donors are asked to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.

According to the Red Cross, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative and B negative.

“Knights of Columbus is committed to strengthening our community and helping meet hospital and patient needs through blood donations.” said Paul Wadowick, blood drive leader and a Red Cross blood donor ambassador since 2016.
